Psychotherapy
In Ontario, psychotherapy is considered a controlled act and only licensed members of certain authorized colleges are able to perform it. As a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I am entitled to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy.
Psychotherapy services are only offered under my license as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO. In order to fulfill the requirements of my license with the CRPO, I receive regular clinical supervision from a Registered Psychotherapist in independent practice.
In person individual psychotherapy sessions are provided in Carleton Place, Ontario to individuals 18 years of age and older. Couples therapy and family therapy is not offered.
Fees and Payment
Sessions are 50 minutes in length and are charged at a rate of $150. Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made using Debit, Mastercard, or Visa.
After payment is received, you will be provided with an official receipt. This can be submitted to your insurance company, if applicable. It is your responsibility to ensure that services are covered by your insurance company prior to the session.
Policies
Life happens, and there may be times when you need to re-schedule or cancel your session. Sessions must be re-scheduled or cancelled with a minimum of 48-hours' notice. Sessions that are cancelled/re-scheduled with less than 48-hours notice, or that are missed entirely, are billed at the full session rate and may not be reimbursed by your insurance company.
